These extra comfy seat cushions are fabricated with 3 inches of memory foam covered in a high quality imitation leather fabric known as Allante / Carrara Collection. They raise the average person approximately 1.25 inches after compression, which allows much better visibility outside the aircraft. Long flights are a breeze.
Machined Delrin Diamond DA40 Tow-bar Adapters
Most FBO's and maintenance shops do not have the proper adapters to move Diamond aircraft around. These simple machined adapters will come in handy many times.
A perfect fit:
- 1.5 inch outside diameter. 0.825 inch inside diameter.
Diamond DA40 Wing and Tail Covers
Don't be grounded this winter because of Frost, Snow or Ice stuck to your wings.
Included are 2 High quality wing covers and 1 horizontal stabilizer/elevator cover.
The covers are made with a high quality marine fabric called "Softouch" which has a very durable fade resistant exposed surface with a protective fuzzy backing that is designed to protect expensive finishes such as gel coat and acrylic paints. It is very kind to the aircraft's surface.
Each wing cover has 7- one inch webbing straps spaced evenly to synch the covers tightly to the entire wing. Nexus Side release buckles on both leading and trailing edge allow you to install or remove from front or rear. They truly are skin-tight. The tail cover is made the same way but with 8 straps. Topstitched with Sunguard thread. High quality sewing.
Diamond DA40 Rudder Gust Lock.
Protect your rudder and cables from banging around in the wind.
The standard in-cockpit gust lock does a pretty good job of securing the elevator and ailerons but the rudder can still move up to 8 inches from side to side with just a 20 knot tail wind.
This rudder lock was tested in 55 mph gusts from the rear and the rudder does not move at all. Shaped and padded aluminum bars on both sides with a bolt and wing-nut to secure. The red safety warning flag doubles as a safety strap to hold the lock in place if it loosens.
