The Softopper Sport Rack was designed to be used with or without our Softopper camper shells. The feet on the uprights are a slim design that fit under the softopper bedrail installation. Typically the racks are situated between 8 and 12 inches from either end of the truck bed. Simply add an additional strip of weather seal (supplied) and clamp the rack uprights to the bedrails. Next, attach and secure the crossbars and away you go.

 This medium duty sport rack is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast. Recommended for maximum evenly distributed loads of 300 lbs. or less

Perfect for carrying bicycles, kayaks, canoes, surfboards, ladders etc.

We also carry (optional) side bicycle mounts and lockable bike trays with softopper stretch kit.

1 1/8 inch crossbars are compatible with most Rocky Mount, Yakima and Thule rack hardware.

Note: When used in conjunction with the Softopper the rack may interfere with retracting of the Softopper canopy. It may be necessary to remove the collapsible frame from the rear, retract and re-attach. This operation takes 2 people approximatly two minutes.
