This removable bike rack adapter kit attaches to the U.S. Cap Rack to allow you to carry bicycles on either side of the vehicle. The 1-1/8 inch horizontal posts which can be removed in seconds will accept most Rocky Mounts, Yakima and Thule bike trays. The kit (one side) comes complete with 2 side plates, 2 horizontal removable posts, 4 backing plates, mounting bolts and a security strap.  The security strap pulls the bicycle inward slightly to eliminate movement and must be used at all times. Each mounting plate has 5 holes to allow flexibility in mounting the wide range of bike tray configurations available. All plates have been powder coated to match the U.S. Cap Rack.
