Why give up valuable truck bed space when travelling with bicycles.  Two bikes in the back of a pickup take up an unbelievable amount of space leaving little room for all your other toys and supplies.  Roof racks can cost an additional $400.00 plus bike mounting hardware ($95.00 per bike) so this is an much less expensive option.

We have been using similar prototypes on our vehicles for years and often have people asking about them so we decided to engineer a strong safe product to offer to the public. 

This rack was designed to work with or without a camper shell.  (some exclusions).  Available for driver's side and passenger side.  (please specify).  If only buying one, driver side is recommended.

Tray is 60 inches long for those long bikes.

The new bike racks are manufactured with high quality materials and workmanship and are made (100%) in the USA in Boulder Colorado with a durable black powder coated finish.   Disasembles into three pieces.

The Softopper Bedrail bike rack was designed to fit a wide variety of pickup truck box styles. Some installations may require drilling a few small holes while most will not. Installation on most trucks use a couple of standard truck bed clamps and a "J" bolt. Some trucks have factory installed utility tracks and require specialty clamps which we have in stock and can ship with your order at no additional cost. There are several slots milled throughout the parts to allow for a bolt-on installation if desired. 

Everything is included for a quick and easy installation.

Note:  A cable lock through bicycle frame is recommended if leaving unattended.
